'Lady Marmalade' Music Video by The Heathers

Season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race was arguably the best season of the show because of the insane talent of the contestants, and they actually had to sew their own outfits. Season 3 also saw the show's biggest segregation between the Heathers and the boogers. Still to this day Shangela and Stacy Layne Matthews are some of my favorites so the hate that went around that season didn't go quite as planned. But now the Heathers are back for one last (victory) lap.

Let's get this straight: I've never liked Delta Work or Carmen Carrera. It doesn't diminish their talent, but I've never found a reason to like them, especially after this whole "tranny" debacle. Carmen and Delta are just filler, but I do think Delta looked gorgeous here. Now, let's get on to the positives (well, maybe...).

Lady Marmalade is a classic diva collab track because how could we ever forget Christina Aguilera, P!nk, Mya and Lil' Kim teaming up? Sadly, the Heathers couldn't live up to that. The Heathers recorded and performed this song almost a year ago now, but because of their busy schedules it is only now that we are getting the official release of the song and the accompanying video.

It's actually quite a fun rendition, and I'll definitely listen to it a few times more. But there is just too much auto-tune. Manila and Raja can do without it, and with Carmen rapping and Delta basically just talking it was completely unnecessary. I really think it would have been much stronger had they sung.

The true highlight of this whole project is of course the video because, let's face it, these are four very gorgeous queens. They each sported an array of looks, all of which were immaculately put together. We all know I'm partial to Manila (who looked stunning), but Raja looked sexy in her mask and Delta and Carmen turned out their looks. The entire set design was perfect and I loved the cinematography. If they just work on a few things they could compete with DWV.
